Game changer for van life

Quiet enough for overnight use

No — the Aerobloc 40L features a 3-level dynamic battery protection system. You can set the protection level based on your battery type (standard, medium or high protection). The fridge automatically monitors your vehicle's battery voltage and shuts down before it drops to a level that would prevent the car from starting. This makes it completely safe for overnight use in campervans and caravans.
Yes — the Aerobloc 40L includes both a 2.5m DC car cable (12V/24V) and a 2m AC mains cable (240V). Simply plug into a standard UK wall socket at home to pre-cool before a trip, use as additional fridge space during summer, or power it in a garage or shed. The same unit works seamlessly in both environments.
The Aerobloc 40L operates quietly thanks to its energy-efficient 60W compressor. In ECO mode the noise level is minimal — comparable to a standard home refrigerator. It is quiet enough for use in a campervan or tent overnight without causing disturbance.
ECO mode runs the compressor more efficiently, using less power — ideal for long journeys where battery conservation is important. MAX mode runs the compressor at full power to cool the contents as quickly as possible. We recommend using MAX mode initially to reach your target temperature, then switching to ECO mode to maintain it.
Cooling time depends on the ambient temperature and the target temperature set. In typical UK summer conditions, the fridge will reach 0°C from room temperature in approximately 20-30 minutes in MAX mode. We recommend pre-cooling at home using the AC cable before loading with food and drink for best results.
The Aerobloc 40L is compatible with any vehicle fitted with a standard 12V or 24V cigarette lighter socket — including cars, SUVs, vans, campervans, motorhomes, caravans and trucks. The 2.5m DC cable provides ample reach to position the fridge comfortably in the boot or on the back seat.
